Favourite Favourite Worst Nightmare
So I’ve been listening to Arctic Monkeys’ second album a lot. It’s actually better than the first one; the songs aren’t songs so much as a collection of riffs, repeating and surging like techno, breaking down and blasting into crescendos. In fact, the dynamics of the tracks are closer to dance music than they are indie, except, y’know, with guitars and stuff.
That is my blinding insight for the day. Treasure it.
