Count in Threes
It’s an old adage, but it sometimes does seem as if famous people die in threes. In recent days we’ve had the deaths of three giants of the entertainment industry: Michel Serrault, Ingmar Bergman, and Mike Reid.
What’s that you say? Mike Reid doesn’t deserve to be bracketed with the likes of Serrault and Bergman? Well, my friend. Did Serrault ever play a loveable old rogue with a heart of gold in Eastenders? Did Bergman ever host a kids’ TV quiz show where the child contestants were required, upon being bellowed at to do so by said host, to run around like ADHD crackheads with ASBOs?
I. Think. Not.

Neither did Bergman stand on Pat Butcher’s doorstep wearing nothing but a revolving bow-tie and a smile. Gawd bless Mike Reid, I loved Runaround. What about Tony Wilson? You’re a muso… have you blogged about him?
how can you make so nice blog !
